This is a senior level position responsible for planning, organizing and leading fundraising activities for the Plano operation.  This position requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with individual and corporate donors, sponsors, vendors and volunteers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• In consultation with the President plan, design and implement all fundraising activities.
• Oversee the identification, research, cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgment, and stewardship of donors at all levels.
• Prepare for and solicit gifts at all levels personally and in conjunction with staff and key volunteers.
• Create marketing materials, and social media and advertising campaigns as part of fundraising and public relations strategy.
• Ensure local and corporate sponsorship goals for each fundraising event and major gifts goals are met.
• Work closely with nonPareil corporate staff to ensure coordination on fundraising activities and compliance with all nonPareil policies/guidelines, to reflect ethical fundraising practices.
• Maintain involvement with external organizations and professional groups that may provide continuing education or build long-term relationships with donors/supporters.
• Prepare and submit grant applications that meets nonPareil overall fund development objectives
• Coordinate in-kind donations with the President and other key staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:


• Five to ten years of professional development and fundraising experience for a non-profit
• Proven track record in achieving major gift fundraising goals
• Strong organizational skills to plan, implement, and administer successful fundraising programs and initiatives
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with staff and volunteers
• Ability to work well with diverse population, including adults with autism spectrum disorder


EDUCATION & TRAINING:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• CFRE certification preferred
