| Minimum Qualifications: | The successful candidate must have a genuine passion for nonprofit organizations and be a strong advocate for the foundation. This position requires a seasoned, high-energy candidate, who is comfortable formulating and executing ideas, be able to take initiative, keep open communication with board members, donors, staff and volunteers. The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working with a nonprofit organization. Will need to have experience in budgeting/finance fundraising and have strong managerial skills. A significant successful track record of resource development, working with donors, general fundraising and planning events is a requirement. The candidate must be a strategic thinker and planner, be detail oriented, organized and have working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Duties include but not limited to: Serves as lead person coordinating all logistics in connection with fundraising events, develops and maintains master event/campaign calendar. Manages fundraising database and ensures that it effectively supports all fundraising activities. Researches trends and emerging opportunities in the private donor, corporate and foundation community. Coordinates communication activities to support the fundraising and development plan including but not limited to the foundation's on-line social media strategy, website and other marketing resources. |
