Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas (BBBS) seeks to hire a Chief Development Officer responsible for all fund development efforts (major gifts, government and foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, events and annual giving). The CDO leads a development team of four overseeing all aspects of the development cycle and with the CEO, senior leadership, board, volunteers and development team identifies, develops and maintains funding. The CDO is a senior member of the BBBS management team.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 7-10 years of fundraising experience, including a demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of development.
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in direct supervision of a high-performing development department
  • Must be willing to successfully work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be willing to work with diverse populations.
  • Must be willing and able to travel when necessary.
  • Must be able to attend events in the early morning, evening and weekends.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management), fundraising or database systems. Specific experience with Raisers Edge preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
