2016 AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course

Hosted by the Greater Dallas and Fort Worth Metro Chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals


Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016. The sessions will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude by 5:30 p.m. each day. Morning and afternoon breaks and lunch are included both days as part of the registration fee.


All sessions will be held at CitySquare, one of Dallas' non-profits. CitySquare is conveniently located just off I-30 and Central Expressway near downtown Dallas and some of its cultural attractions such as Klyde Warren Park and Deep Ellum. Upon registration you will receive a confirmation letter including a map and directions to the site.

Registration Fees

AFP Members - $350 (after 9/1 = $390)
Non-Members - $450 (after 9/1 = $490)
* 10% discount for four or more attendees registering by September 1, 2016 from the same organization at the same time.

2016 CFRE Continuing Education

Continuing Education Credit

The Fundamentals of Fundraising course is approved for continuing education credit by CFRE International. Participants will receive a thorough reference manual of course materials. 16 CFRE credit hours are awarded to participants who complete the entire two-day course.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration, you will receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee, by submitting written notification at least seven days prior to the course. Participant substitution may be made up to two days prior to the course. In the event of program cancellation, liability of the AFP Chapters and AFP International is limited to the registration fee.


A limited number of scholarships may be awarded on the basis of need to assist with the costs of the course registration. Applications must be received by September 1, 2016 to be considered. Applications may be obtained at afpfortworth.com or afpdallas.org. Awardees will be notified by September 15, 2016.
