The Development Campaign Coordinator provides administrative support to the Senior Director of Major Gifts and other members of the Development team within the assigned area of responsibility. This position will focus on fundraising campaign-related development tasks. Ensures productivity expectations, customer service and compliance standards are maintained.  Abides by the organization’s mission in performing job duties.  Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Development Campaign Coordinator include (please refer to online posting at www.ppgreatertx.org/jobs for a complete job description):

=         Provides administrative and program support to the, Sr. Director of Major Gifts and other members of the Development team in assigned area of responsibility.

=         Serves as the primary contact for contact for campaign-related development inquiries within assigned region, routes calls as appropriate.

=         Arranges travel for campaign meetings, solicitations and events as needed.

=         Coordinate scheduling meetings with donors and prospects.

=         Coordinates with the Office of the President/CEO to maximize the time spent by the President/CEO with donors related to the campaign.

=         Proactively arranges for the written communication with major campaign donors (thank you notes; condolence & other occasional cards; etc.

=         Coordinates major donor mailings by preparing lists, performing mail merges, metering, and preparing bulk mail.

=         Performs research on major donor and campaign prospects, prepares reports and strategy briefings.

=         Prepares materials, handouts, and packets for donor solicitations.

=         Produces standardized reports, design queries, and export mailing lists from the Raiser’s Edge donor database system.

=         Performs data entry in Raiser’s Edge and other databases on donors and prospects. Identifies and documents next steps with donors and ensures timely follow-up. 

=         Maintains campaign files/records.

=         Plays a lead role in Campaign specific events including material preparation (mailings and materials), managing event communication, coordination of invitation and guest lists, set-up, and on-site presence at events as required.

=         Serves as primary contact for designated fundraising events in conjunction with the PPGT Events team and community volunteers; provides support for other PPGT fundraising events as required.

=         Represents PPGT within assigned region at a variety of events and meetings as applicable. Will also participate in events and meetings outside of assigned region as needed. .

=         Assists with preparing materials for meetings: copying materials, setting up meeting room, ordering food and arranging conference calls.

=         Prepares and distributes correspondence, memos, meeting notices, meeting materials, and other written documents including staff, board and committee meetings as needed.

=         Creates PowerPoint presentations in support of the department.

=         Edit, update and proof documents as requested.

=         Has restricted access to client private health information and has no reason to view protected health information (PHI).   May have access to data that is not considered PHI, such as aggregate numbers.

=         Other related duties as assigned.

=         Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

 

Requirements:

 

=         H/S Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of related experience or Associates degree with 4 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with some related experience. Related experience: Development, fundraising, non-profit or related.

=         Must have excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Internet.

=         Abide by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethical Standards and Donor Bill of Rights.

=         Must be able to work other shifts including evenings and weekends.

=         Must be able to travel within and outside organization region as job dictates.

=         Ability to pay attention to detail, to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and to work under pressure.

=         Ability to find humor in day-to-day challenges while being focused on solutions.

=         Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

=         Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving techniques in the decision-making process.
